As one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the United States, Nguyen has also made guest appearances on several television shows, commercials, and has designed numerous websites for Nickelodeon and the SciFi channel in the late 90s. He has worked in the field of technology and computer management business information systems development since he was 11.
Nguyen was on vacation during the summer of 2004 in Oregon. When asked for the reason why he was in the area, he replied, "Helping my coworkers look for purple amethyst and quartz... and hunting a little bit. It really is a treat to get out and do the exploring that I've always wanted."
